We started over 20 years ago in lower Manhattan with four sales reps utilizing temporary office space. Today, CDS has nine offices and about two-hundred employees across six states and our nation's capital. During our geographic expansion over the years, CDS also transformed from a Xerox Agent to a full-service provider. Beyond Xerox copiers and laser printers, CDS offers a full suite of copier service and technology solutions ranging from managed print services, to managed IT services, and project-based IT services, providing our customers a single source for all their business technology needs.

John Hand is a CDS veteran who has been with the company over 20 years, since its inception in 1996. As the company’s CEO, John is responsible for leading the CDS vision and strategy. John also serves as the Chairman and CEO of Gabi (Global Artificial Business Intelligence) and Vision-e.
Sam serves as COO of CDS, and believes nothing is more important than exceptional customer service and team leadership. Prior to joining the CDS team he spent 20 years at Xerox, where he served in a variety of roles including Vice President, U.S. Channels Group, Business Operations/Sales Operations to drive results across channels and partners.
Kurt Schmelz is president of CDS, and previously served as president at Managed Service Works. Kurt has extensive management experience from his time at Xerox, with past responsibility for managing and directing workforces of sales, operations, and finance staff as President of the Xerox U.S. Channels Group.
